On Friday, December 11, join Wiley Harwell for an introduction to problem gambling and how those within the religious community can be supportive of those struggling with a gambling problem. This gathering and presentation will look into the history of gambling and where we stand today in Oklahoma. We will uncover the criteria of the psychological diagnosis of Gambling Disorder and how to recognize the symptoms of people who struggle with gambling. We will also learn the effects on family and friends, and how to find help for those in need. We want our religious community to be knowledgeable about this disorder and to be a front line defense against this public health issue.
