PROBLEM GAMBLING COUNSELOR CERTIFICATION

Are you ready to become a certified problem gambling counselor (CPGC)? OAPGG, together with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS), has developed a state certification for problem gambling counselors. State certification has been approved by the legislature, and ODMHSAS has outlined the certification process in Title 450: Chapter 75; Standards and Criteria for Certified Problem Gambling Treatment Counselors. The certification has been available since November of 2021.

The certification period is from July 1 to June 30 each year, and you can apply at any time.

For detailed information on the certification and renewal process, please review the certification guide. You can also review the application checklist for an overview of required documents.
