TRIBAL TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION
Training for Tribal Casinos
OAPGG helps Oklahoma tribal nations meet state compact requirements by providing casino employee training. Since 70% of helpline callers say they get the number directly from the casino, employee training and orientation is vitally important. This significantly increases the calls to the helpline which directly accounts for a larger number of gamblers and their families gaining access to treatment.
OAPGG provides training for Oklahoma tribal casinos, which includes The Signs and Symptoms of the Problem Gambler and Customer Service: Being a Responsible Gaming Advocate. OAPGG also helps tribes by receiving, updating, and distributing training material, videos, posters, and brochures that address responsible gaming and the problem gambler.
