KFOR Interview: Problem Gambling on the Rise in Oklahoma

OAPGG Executive Director Wiley Harwell recently visited the KFOR Oklahoma News 4 station to talk about the rise of problem gambling in Oklahoma. From 2016 to 2022, the rate for gambling disorder has nearly doubled to 6.3%, and the number of Oklahomans experiencing some type of problem with their gambling has grown to 1 million. Oklahoma is ranked as the second most at-risk state in the nation due to its high number of slot machines and low funding for problem gambling. To watch the video, visit the KFOR website.
